Introduction to Veterinary Oral Surgery and Periodontal Treatment (Level 2)

This course was an absolute life saver for a mixed animal veterinarian like myself. Every single person on staff was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I would personally like to thank Michelle, Shelbi, Ricardo, and Krystle for their hospitality and patience. Dr. Wingo and Dr. Jucan were overwhelmingly nice, and their teaching skills are superb. <br><br> If anyone is looking to improve their dentistry skills, no matter how little you know, take it from a cow vet who knew very little - this class is a must. 10/10!

I really appreciated this experience and gained a ton from it. I wish we had more time to have worked on extractions but I also know it's difficult to do more. I really would be interested in doing a cat extraction lab as well.

If you are a DVM performing small animal dental procedures (or you would like to start or improve your skills), this course is an absolute must! The doctors, technicians and CSRs at Carefree Dentistry & Oral Surgery for Animals are knowledgeable, fun, practical and so darn friendly! The lectures are casual and interactive, followed by relevant lab rotations with demonstrations. The topics pertain to the procedures we as general practitioners are performing every day in our clinics. So many tips, tricks and encouragement to be better! They also have recommendations for equipment, tools and products to make our lives easier AND provide the best dental care for our patients. And if you get stuck during a dental procedure at your clinic, you can call them! If you have the opportunity to attend CE courses/labs hosted by these folks, you should! Plus, it's an excellent opportunity to meet and network with other veterinarians and local businesses!
