Dog & Cat Veterinary Dentist in Carefree, Arizona

Board Certified Veterinary Dentists®

Carefree Dentistry and Oral Surgery for Animals, led by Dr. Wingo and Dr. Jucan, is a state-of-the-art dental and oral surgical practice. Our Board-Certified Veterinary Dentists® have extensive and advanced training in veterinary dentistry, oral surgery, and anesthesia, and can treat various dental conditions that affect cats and dogs.

Cleaning with Anesthesia

We offer routine teeth cleanings with customized anesthetic protocols for each individual pet patient. Our team of veterinary dental specialists begins with an examination, followed by pre-anesthetic lab tests to assess the overall health of your pet, followed by taking x-rays and a CAT scan image of your pet’s teeth, before beginning with the anesthetized dental cleaning. By using anesthesia for your dog or cat’s dental cleaning, we are able to clean just under the gum line, as well as scale and polish your pet’s teeth. Our dog and cat teeth cleanings are an important aid in preventing or controlling periodontal disease.

Oral Surgery

In addition to veterinary teeth cleanings, we are also trained in cat and dog oral surgery and can help pets who have experienced maxillofacial trauma, jaw fractures, oral tumors, dislocated haws, or palatal defects.
